Three Happy Turtles’ Three Reasons to Visit
- It is a great local zoo! The zoo is small and can be done in a couple of hours. Which is really, really nice, because then you have time to truly enjoy everything you are seeing. The
- The animals are well taken care of and the zoo does an excellent job of educating people on their mission. My daughter is able to tell me which animals are next as we wonder through. She loves it so much!
- The events are fun! One of my favorites is one they have in the fall where you can tent camp AT THE ZOO! The zookeepers take you on a tour and focus on the nocturnal animals, they provide a small breakfast in the morning and you get to watch a movie with popcorn. Truly a fun time.
